The house is set on a sixty-acre farm at the top of the Antrim plateau.
The breath taking beautiful scenic view covers the rolling hills of Co. Antrim
and County Derry.
Montalto sits approximately 1 mile from the residential hamlet of Newtowncrommelin.
Directly out of the other side of the village is the scenic route to the coast,
which is 20 minutes drive away.
The house being at the top of the Antrim plateau means visitors are only a ten
minute drive away from the Glens of Antrim and Glenariffe forest walks and forty
five minutes away from one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Giants Causeway.
The great shopping town of Ballymena is only a twenty minute drive away.
The famous Antrim coastline is amongst the most spectacular in Europe and the
Glens of Antrim along with much of the coastline here is under the stewardship
of the National Trust.
Walking and cycling and golf are fabulous, with coastal and Antrim Glens walks
giving spectacular viewpoints, and Golf courses aplenty.
There is lots of information on things to do and places to go at the house,
but Ballymena Tourist Information Centre at the Braid are very helpful should
you wish to plan your days in advance of your arrival.
